Who Comes on a Singles Walking Holiday?

We've been organising singles holidays on Menorca for 8 years now and often describe what we offer as a holiday for single people, rather than a singles holiday.

It's fair to say that the majority of our singles holiday guests are between 45 and 75 years old and, as with most singles holidays, we have a slight female bias.  Other than that, our guests come from a whole range of geographic and cultural backgrounds, which is exactly what makes our singles holidays work.

Our group size is normally somewhere between 8 and 20 people and we recognise that, within that, there are people travelling alone for a whole number of reasons.  Some are recently divorced or separated and some have partners at home who simply don't like walking.  Some people can't quite pluck up the courage to come on their own and arrive with a friend to offer support. 

We are also aware that some of our guests are travelling alone for the first time in a number of years after being widowed.  We know how difficult this can be and have welcomed many people to Menorca who've suffered a loss.  We assure you of our best attentions at all times during your holiday.
