Painting Holidays with 'no single supplement'

Menorca Singles Painting Holidays are to be enjoyed not endured.  Less of a painting holiday and more of a holiday where you paint.

We believe in creating a stress free and calm environment for your creativity to fourish.  To a certain extent, just being on Menorca achieves this and the island has rightly earned a reputation for it's laid back attitude and unspoilt way of life.  Many of our painting holiday guests tell us that it reminds them of how they imagine rural life would have been in the UK 50 years ago .... only with sunshine!



We do realise, however, that you've come to Menorca to paint in water colour and not just to take in the atmosphere.  To this end, for the forth year running, we are delighted to be welcoming back Denise Allen as our painting holiday course tutor.  Aside from being a talented and working artist, Denise has a laid back, but hugely informative, teaching manner that regularly produces the best from our painting holiday guests.  During your week with us, Denise will work with you in the following areas:

• Mixing colour in a limited palette
• Wet in wet
• Dry brushing techniques and tips
• Creativing light and sparkle on the water
• Stick and ink technique

 

To free up Denise's time to teach, she has an assistant on site with her at all times.  Carolyn's role is to drive the minibus, carry chairs, fill up water pots and generally help our painting holiday guests with any questions or issues other than those relating to the painting.

Each day's painting session is followed by a fabulous 3 course lunch at a handpicked and high quality local restaurant.
