About Our 'no single supplement' Painting Holidays

Menorca Painting Holidays are open to everyone.  Artistic genius is not important and Denise, your painting tutor, puts a high emphasis on fun, personal development and low stress.  She has a wealth of teaching experience and creates a stimulating, yet calming, atmosphere for you to learn from and enjoy.

The mornings painting commences with a short watercolour demonstration.  Each day we concentrate on a different technique, which is specific to that days location.  During your week's holiday you will learn invaluable skills covering the following areas:

• Colour mixing in a limited palet
• Wet in wet 
• Dry brushing
• Creating light and sparkle on the water 
• Stick and ink technique

We are not just about painting.  Of equal importance are good food, good company and a happy and relaxed atmosphere.  Every painting day, we take a long, lingering, Mediterranean style lunch.  Here we can discuss the morning's events, chat amongst friends or simply enjoy the wonderful food and wine on offer.
