Denise Allen has, once again, agreed to be our course tutor and we are both privileged and delighted to be welcoming her back.

During previous seasons, our singles painting guests have adored her laid back, yet wonderfully informative, teaching methods.  Denise has an enthusiastic, yet practical, view on how to teach people in watercolour painting and her passion for teaching shines through.

"It seems that I've been painting my whole life, although I've made my living from the art form since the early 80's.  During this time I've adopted a "have brush will travel" philosophy to life and would consider myself a genuine working artist.  I've sold work in Spain, Bermuda and all over the UK.  Whilst living in Bermuda, I also ran an art gallery for my sins.  My greatest passion, however, is teaching people of all levels how to paint in watercolour.  I've had a life long lover affair with painting and nothing gives me such a kick as seeing people return to the UK as enthused as I am."

"Whether you have worked steadily for years to develop your drawing and painting skills or have not picked up a brush since leaving school, I believe that I can provide new insights and tips on techniques that will enable you to make progress as an artist."
