Digital Photography Holidays with
'no single supplement'

As with all of our holidays on Menorca, Menorca Photographic Holidays are to be enjoyed not endured.  Not so much a photography holiday, but a holiday where you'll learn to take great photos. The holidays are open to all levels and ages and our course tutor, Chris, is equally comfortable teaching men or women.

Digital technology has turned photography upside down over the last 10 years.  It's now possible for anyone with a reasonable level digital camera to achieve imagery that would have been unthinkable in the past.  This doesn't mean, however, that clicking away aimlessly will automatically produce results and this holiday is very much about exploring the possibilities hidden within your camera.  During your holiday you'll visit a number of handpicked sites, which are designed to both inspire and offer you contrasting photographic opportunities.

Whether you're an accomplished amateur photographer looking to improve still further or a relative beginner just wanting to take better photos, we'd like to welcome you to Menorca.  Chris Gilbert, your course tutor, has a non patronising and easy to understand teaching manner.  During the course, we'll look into areas including the following:

• The relationship between Shutter and Aperture
• Metering and Exposure
• Understanding landscape, light and weather
• Introduction to digital image processing

As we say above, this is a holiday and at the end of each day's session, we take a long, leisurely, Mediterranean style lunch.  Here we can discuss the morning's events or simply enjoy the great food and ambience.
