Ancient dry stone walls meander across the green fields, mysterious ancient monuments and burial mounds are everywhere.  Rustic country houses are glimpsed within the rolling hills and pine forests, whilst deep wood gorges run to white sandy bays and onwards into clear turquoise seas.



The people of Menorca are proud of their island and have taken great steps to protect their environment.  It is for this reason that the island's mainly natural coastline still offers a remarkable number of virgin fine sand coves to explore.



Inland the pace of life is gentle, with its feet firmly planted in the past and where time slips by unhurriedly in small towns and villages.
