Your Walking Guide

Hello.  My name is John Devine and I'll be guiding and generally taking care of you during your singles walking holiday on Menorca.

My family and I have lived on the wonderful island of Menorca for nearly nine years and have grown to love every aspect of it's natural beauty, stunning scenerey and, above all, the warm hospitality of it's people.

We came here to retire originally, having had a stressful corporate life in the UK.  With nothing much to do, I spent the first year of my new life rambling and scrambing over every inch of Menorca, trying to find out as much as I could about this fascinating island.  When I wasn't exploring, I spent my time studying the local Menorcan language at night school and, whilst not totally fluent, I can handle most situations that I find myself in these days.

Our UK friends used to love it when we showed them parts of Menorca usually hidden from tourists, especially when it was followed by a wonderful lunch at a local retaurant.  This was what gave us the inspiration to start Menorca Walking Holidays and over the last 8 years, we've welcomed over a 1000 guests to Menorca.

I love showing people around the island, particularly our singles walking holiday guests, who are often travelling alone for the first time and need some light relief.

I promise to look after you during the course of your singles walking holiday and will do my utmost to ensure that you have a great time exploring Menorca.
