Your Week on Mallorca
In order to help you know what to expect during your walking holiday with us here on Mallorca, here's a daily breakdown of what you can expect:
Day 1 - John Devine, your guide and holiday organiser, will meet you personally at Palma airport. From here you'll be driven the 50 minute journey to the hotel and checked in. We have supper at 8.30pm, where the group will have the opportunity to get to know each other.

Day 2 - Today's walk starts from the picturesque village of Fornalutx and begins with a steady climb to a wonderful viewing point that looks out across the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. Here we take tea and biscuits before working our way downhill back to the Port of Soller and lunch on the port.

Day 3 - Today we commence our hike from the stunning bay of Cala Tuent on the north coast of Mallorca and on the edge of the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. Our walk begins along the cliff tops and we enjoy spectacular views of the Med below. After around 2 miles walking, we turn inland and walk downhill to an old farmhouse, where we take teabreak. We are then left with an hour and a half stroll to where we pick up our coach that takes us on to lunch.

Day 4 - After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful village of Deia on the north west of Mallorca and central point of the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. Today's walk is the least challenging excursion of the week and takes us through lush green pine forests with tantalising glimpses of the crystal blue Med on our left hand side. We take tea and biscuits next to the ruin of an old chapel, before finishing our walk in the village of Soller, where we enjoy lunch in a typically Mallorcan restaurant with plates of steaming hot food and robust wine on offer.

Day 5 - Today is a free day. There are many options available to you, including spending the day on the beach or by the pool. Another option is to catch the antique train that follows a picturesque route through the mountains all the way to Palma. Palma is a wonderful city, almost like a mini Barcelona and is a great place to people watch, take in the sites or even enjoy a little retail therapy in the multitude of shops and boutiques that are to be found everywhere.

Day 6 - 'Cuber' is a breathtaking natural mountain reservoir and this is where we start our day's walk. After leaving the reservoir behind, we begin a long descent, which takes us through a deep gorge before we take tea/coffee and biscuits in the village of Biniraix. From here, it's a short stroll into Fornalutx where, weather allowing we'll take lunch in the village square.

Day 7 - Our last day's walking is the only circular offering. We start and finish our walk in Soller where, after 20 mintues flat walking, we begin the climb to the 'viewing point of the boats', which is a 40 minute moderate ascent. On route we stop at an old, but still in use, chapel where we take tea, coffee and biscuits. From the viewing point the rest of the day's walking is either downhill or flat. Once again, we pass through the village of Fornalutx, where John will buy you a last day's beer before picking up the coach to the Port of Soller where we will take lunch.
Day 8 - Airport day and, after fond farewells, we'll take you to the airport in good time for your fllight.
