Sharing our own philosophy, the
Singular Travel website is dedicated to achieving a singularly better, fairer
deal for all people who travel on their own.
Driven by personal experiences, the company’s mission is to help single travellers
achieve equality of status and opportunity, as well as greater holiday value for
money, wherever and whenever possible.
By negotiating with quality Tour Operators, the company seeks to procure holiday
deals that will either banish the dreaded Single Supplement, or provide special
interest activities that are particularly suitable for those travelling alone. In
some cases they get both!
Should you decide that Menorca is not for you this year, we can assure you that
you will find something of interest on this quite remarkable website.

We really like www.wifesgone.com.
As the name would suggest, it targets men of all ages who are going through or have recently
gone through a marriage separation.
We have found "Wifes Gone" to be quite
unique in the way that it provides informal information on a whole range of subjects from travel and
finance, through to legal advice and singles survival techniques.
We really like these guys and have found www.wifesgone.com
to be a sincere and genuine singles organisation, with whom we are delighted to be associated.

Whenthemusicstops.com is one of the biggest singles sites on the web and with good reason.
They target people who are getting a little older and, as a consequence, are finding it increasingly difficult to find quality venues and events where upmarket, sophisticated singles can meet in a safe, but fun environment.
Their dating events are great for people who know that life is too short and are a fun, informal way to meet someone special.
The Whenthemusicstops.com philosophy is much like our own and their events are relaxed, friendly, fun gatherings, where their guests get the chance to meet members of the opposite sex through a series of short dates or as a larger group. Their events are tailored mostly for singles in their 30's, 40's and 50's, but do occasionally organise younger events.
Menorca Walking Holidays is delighted to be associated with Whenthemusicstops.com.

Booked a singles walking holiday with us and not sure if you will be up to the physical activity?
If so these guys could be the solution. Events Together organise walking and scrambling weekends for people who like to walk and meet new and interesting people at the same time.
They offer a short but inclusive weekend programme in both mountain and country environments. Much like ourselves, their walking weekends are to be enjoyed not endured and would be ideal preparation if you were thinking about coming walking on Menorca during the next 12 months.
Aside from the walking, Events Together also organise other events for single people such as, sailing, caving and skiing along with multi-activity weekends.

We wouldn't normally recommend anybody without trying them out first, especially the competition.
We are however delighted to sing the praises of Singles in Crete who organise multi activity singles holidays on the
largest of the Greek islands.
Many of our guests who come walking in Menorca have enjoyed the Singles in Crete experience, which inludes such diverse activities as,
walking (hmmmm.), painting, cycling and horse riding to name but a few. Their guests stay at the familly run Mistral Hotel,
which is owned by Vassili and his familly and who are also your holiday organisers.
We have spoken to Vassili a lot during the last couple of years and he strikes us as a really nice chap who genuinely enjoys what he does.
Our guests also tell us that the food is fantastic so don't expect to lose any weight on this holiday.
Give them a call on 0871 1900 2070 or visit their website by clicking on the logo above and I am sure that they will be delighted to hear from you.

We came accross Outdoor World Ltd when stocking up with goodies up for our
2009 walking season. Outdoor world, as the name would suggest, are an online
outdoor equipment/clothing supplier.
We found their range to be at least as
comprehensive as anything else we have seen and at competetive prices. These
guys are also retailers and it notices. We phoned them with a couple of
questions and these were answered professionaly and in a helpfull manner. We
certainly feel that they know their stuff and are delighted to recommend
them to our walking guests.

"Date Active" are right up our street. A "non cheesey", but "up and at em" singles site that targets singles who have an interest in outdoor pursuits. The idea is simple, sign up, log on and find someone interested in the same type of activity as you. Their main areas are walking, climbing, cycling, horseriding, caving and kayaking. One of the things that we like about Date Active is that they are not just about romance, but offer a genuine way of putting people of similar interests together....although you never know who might be waiting at the top of the next hill.

If you are coming back from Menorca feeling invigorated and ready for a more physical challenge, then
Peakland Walking Holidays is the place to come to for high quality walking breaks in the Peak National Park. PWH is run by writer, photographer and walking guide, Pete Hawkins, who has been leading walking holidays in the Peak National Park for over 21 years. He runs short walking breaks from his base in the village of Tideswell in the Peak District throughout the year. Pete also organises the Silva-sponsored Map and Compass Courses, again run from Tideswell, which will help you find your way from A to B without the need for a guide. Best I stop now before talking myself out of a job, although seriously would have to say, having participated on one of these courses, we have found them to be informative and well worth the effort.
